4. Non-Returnable Situations
Returns may not be accepted in the following situations:
- The return request is made after the allowed return period.
- The product has been used, altered, washed, damaged, or is not in its original condition.
- The product is returned without original tags, labels, packaging, or proof of purchase.
- Minor differences in color, texture, finish, or appearance arising from screen display, lighting, photography, or natural product variation.
- Products that are specifically marked as non-returnable, final sale, clearance, custom-made, made-to-order, altered, intimate-use, or hygiene-sensitive items, where applicable.
- Complaints based solely on personal preference after purchase, unless otherwise stated by the store.
5. Damaged, Defective, Wrong, or Missing Item Cases
If you receive a damaged product, defective item, wrong item, or if any item is missing from your order, you should contact us as early as possible with:
- your order number,
- product details,
- issue description, and
- supporting photos or videos, where applicable.
After review, we may offer one of the following, depending on the case:
- replacement,
- refund,
- store credit,
- partial refund, or
- rejection of the request if the claim is not validated.
6. Return Approval Process
Return requests are subject to verification and approval by 7Pleats.
Submitting a return request does not automatically guarantee approval. Each request will be reviewed based on:
- order history,
- delivery confirmation,
- customer explanation,
- supporting evidence,
- product condition, and
- policy eligibility.
Our decision after review shall be final, subject to applicable consumer protection law.
7. Return Shipping
Where a return is approved, the customer may be asked to ship the product to the return address mentioned below or to any other address communicated by our support team at the time of approval.

Unless otherwise agreed by us in writing:
- return shipping responsibility may lie with the customer,
- original shipping charges may be non-refundable,
- return shipping charges may be deducted from the refundable amount where applicable.

8. Refund Process
Once the returned product is received and inspected, and the return is approved, the refund will be processed.
Refunds, where approved, are generally processed within 7.
Refund timelines may vary further depending on:

- UPI provider,
- card issuer,
- payment gateway,

- original mode of payment.
9. Mode of Refund
Refunds are usually issued through the original payment method used for the order, wherever technically possible.
In certain cases, we may issue refunds through:

- store credit,
- wallet credit, or
- any other suitable method as determined by us.
10. Partial Refunds
In some situations, only a partial refund may be granted, including but not limited to:
- products returned in incomplete condition,
- products missing packaging or tags,
- items showing signs of handling beyond reasonable inspection,
- approved cases where shipping, handling, platform, or restocking charges apply.
11. Replacement Policy
Where replacement is feasible and approved, 7Pleats may offer a replacement instead of a refund.
Replacement availability depends on:
- stock availability,
- serviceability,
- nature of complaint, and
- verification outcome.
If replacement stock is unavailable, an alternative resolution such as refund or store credit may be offered.
12. Cancellation Before Dispatch
Orders may be cancelled before dispatch only if the order has not already been processed, packed, shipped, or handed over for fulfillment.
Once an order enters processing or shipping stage, cancellation may not be possible.
Any approved refund for cancelled prepaid orders will be processed as per the refund timeline stated above.
13. Cancellation After Dispatch
Orders cannot usually be cancelled after dispatch. In such cases, the order may fall under the standard return eligibility rules after delivery, if applicable.
14. Refusal to Accept Delivery
If a customer refuses delivery without valid reason, 7Pleats reserves the right to recover applicable shipping, handling, return logistics, or other actual charges before issuing any refund, if any refund is approved at all.
